Course Description

Hospitality Goes Green recognizes hospitality as an area of design that incorporates the "durability" of commercial with the "feel at home" of residential. It can include not just hotels, lodging and restaurants, but assisted living and children's centers as well. This program addresses sustainable issues pertaining to interiors while penetrating the health issues of air and environmental quality. Furniture, furnishings and materials will be reviewed for green hospitality application as well as Health, Safety and Welfare. The program will introduce the Green standards set by Pineapple Hospitality and Florida Green Lodging.
